The Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) is the largest,
oldest, and most respected professional association for persons in the employee assistance
program field. EAPA represents more than 7,000 individuals and organisations around the
globe with an interest in employee assistance. This is the home page of the Australian
Chapter and the Australian State Branches. Meetings
held Sydney & Victoria.

EAPA
Founded in 1971, EAPA has been working to develop and maintain the best
possible workplace relationships for people around the world. EAPA members follow
professional standards and a strict code of ethics, which includes a firm commitment to
protect and uphold confidentiality.
The Australian Chapter was formed in 1987 and is represented throughout
Australia.

EAPA is a professional association and is a chapter of an
international organisation which:
- Meets periodically and develops methods of communications so that
experience and methodologies in programming can be shared and EAPs (Employee Assistance
Programs) improved;
- Provides professional identification for all people working in the field
of EAPs;
- Identifies and responds to the needs of its membership constituency;
- Promotes credibility of EAPs;
- Improves, enhances and communicates the body of knowledge to the field;
- Provides direction and shape to the field;
- Stimulates growth and research in the area of employee assistance;
- Furthers the development of EAPs.
